Systems are usually fully booked during graduation season. For urgent needs, please contact the assigned engineer to be on the waiting list. If a reservation gets canceled, the next user on the waiting list will be informed to fill the vacancy (usually the day before or the same day).
※Canceling reservations is rare. Booking a reservation for an available instrument is recommended.

The official website member email must be the same as that used for filing tape-out applications, otherwise the educational tape-out list cannot be retrieved. The educational tape-out list is imported when the chip ship order is generated and when the proof of chip delivery is signed and returned. After the list is imported, you may make a reservation for educational measurement through the website.
1. Only self-booking instruments can be reserved with an educational chip number. Each number is limited to a one-time measurement service. If a chip requires a second measurement service, it should get approved by the assigned engineer.
2. As educational chips are for academic purposes, only basic measurement services are available for comparison with fundamental simulation items.
If a user intends to apply instruments or accessories of one's own to the measurement, please inform the assigned engineer about the test plan with details and discuss the feasibility before making a reservation. If a test plan without being verified by the assigned engineer was found infeasible on-site, the user would still get charged for the time used. After making a reservation, the user has to sign the Instrument Use Affidavit Form on-site for TSRI's reference.
To prevent the waste of measurement resources, users who fail to attend their scheduled session without a valid reason will be charged based on the system's minimum service hours. For customized measurement services, please notify the assigned engineer at least 1 day in advance if you cannot attend the session.
The operation commission (order scheduling) process involves time estimation and the review of measurement conditions. After both parties sign for confirmation, engineers will reach out to customers to arrange the date of measurement. The internal review process takes about 3-5 weekdays to give quotes. After the customers sign for confirmation, the engineers will contact the customers within 5 days to schedule their measurements. It takes around 2-6 weeks from the time that the order is signed and confirmed to the scheduled measurement date, depending on instrument type and season.

Customers making full price measurement reservations for the first time must complete payment through the customer service center before performing the measurements.
