Venue Rental
Taiwan Semiconductor Research Institute Venue Rental Management Regulations
The utilization of TSRI's venues is primarily reserved for TSRI's own events. Nonprofit organizations, individuals, government agencies, or academic institutes may also rent the venues. However, for the industrial community, venue usage is restricted to events aligned with TSRI's mission or of a technological nature. This restriction does not apply to events already approved as projects.
Article 1. Name and Location of Venues for Rental

- Hsinchu - Conference Rooms on 3F
- Hsinchu - Anteroom of Conference Rooms on 3F
- Tainan Base - International Conference Hall on 1F
Article 2. Service Hours
- Available time slots: 8AM-12PM and 1PM-5PM.
- Non-available time slots: Weekends and national holidays. For special needs, please organize events in the form of projects.
Article 3. Payment Method
- Please pay the fee by issuing a demand check or through transfer 7 days before the rental date.

- Please mail the demand check to No. 26, Prosperity Road I, Hsinchu Science Park, Hsinchu City 300091 (to Cashier, Administrative Services Division, Taiwan Semiconductor Research Institute).
Article 4. Conference Room Equipment and Price List
- Price list for available time slots: The venues and equipment are charged per time slot. If the rental period is shorter than one time slot, they will be charged for one time slot (Unit: NTD)

※ Note:
- Except for the cleaning fee that is charged per rental, all fees listed above are charged per time slot (even if the rental period is shorter than one time slot).
- Conference Rooms A and B on 3F can be connected to each other, with a total capacity of 100 people.

※ Note:
- Whether renters are entitled to discounts is subject to their invoice title. The name of the venue renter shall be the same as the invoice title.
- Partners refer to renters whose promotional meeting materials or posters indicate the full name of TSRI.
Article 5. Notes for the Rental and Use of Venues and Related Equipment

Before rental
- Before renting TSRI’s meeting venues, please carefully read all requirements in the Management Regulations and fill out a Meeting Venue Rental Application Form (as shown in Attachment 1)for the application process.
- Please pay off the venue rental fee in full 7 days before the rental date; otherwise, the rental process will be considered incomplete.
- The venues for rental do not include parking lots. Therefore, TSRI does not allow renters to use the parking lots.

About venue setup
- Setup time: Be sure to set up the venue during the period from 1PM to 5PM on the business day prior to the rental date and notify TSRI beforehand; otherwise, no venue setup is permitted.
- On-site setup: On-site setup (e.g., putting up posters or flags) is allowed only with TSRI staff on the spot and with their consent.
- TSRI does not provide public address services for the projection room. Please send staff for operation training in advance.
- If the exhibition of equipment or machines is needed, they can only be displayed in the anteroom of the International Conference Hall, and their size and weight shall be specified. If special voltages are required, please let us know beforehand for better preparation.

During rental
- In the International Conference Hall, no food or drinks are allowed except water.
- Smoking is prohibited in all meeting venues. Please communicate that to all participants beforehand.
- All equipment, devices, tables and chairs, and other movable properties and equipment can only be used in the meeting venues. Taking them out of the venues is forbidden. Renters shall fulfill their duty of care, ensure proper use of the properties and equipment, and avoid damaging or losing them.
- Meeting venue renters shall pay close attention to and not exceed their rental period to avoid affecting the right of use of the renter for the next time slot.

After rental
- Renters must clear all decorations (e.g., posters and flags) inside and outside the venues and replace all rented equipment (e.g., tables, chairs, and display boards). If any item is damaged or lost, they must compensate according to the price.
- Renters shall take proper care of their own valuable belongings and meeting data.TSRI is not responsible for their receipt, safekeeping, or compensation. However, TSRI may help look for missing items upon notification by the renters.
- All events organized by renters shall not violate public order or good morals. During the events, the renters have the responsibility to maintain order in the venues and ensure the safety of participants.TSRI is not responsible for any injury/death or other accidents occurring during the rental period.

Others

Refund where there is a failure to hold meetings on schedule:
- Where renters fail to hold meetings on schedule due to force majeure factors, such as natural disasters, or the fact that the Directorate-General of Personnel Administration called off school and work, they may provide the original payment receipt and fill out a Refund Application Form (as shown in Attachment 2) to request a refund with TSRI no later than by the end of the 30-day period after the meeting date. Failure to make such request within the prescribed time frame is considered a waiver of the refund.
- For non-natural disaster factors, the renters must provide the original payment receipt and fill out a Refund Application Form (as shown in Attachment 2) to request a 70% refund with TSRI no later than by the end of the 7-day period after the meeting date. Failure to make such request within the prescribed time frame is considered a waiver of the refund.
- To ensure waste sorting, all venue renters must sort their waste in separate bags. If there is a need to order box lunches, the containers must be made of paper for environmental protection.

Article 6. Notes
- Where it is found that there is any renter committing impersonation, TSRI will seek the recovery of the difference in the fee for each time slot from the renter, and may suspend rentals and stop offering discounts to the renter and other parties involved in such act.
- Where any fixed facilities or equipment in the rented venues are damaged due to misuse or lost, the renter is liable for the damage or loss and shall compensate according to the price.
- Where the use of a venue is required by official or specific needs, TSRI may notify the venue renter to reschedule or cancel the rental 7 days before the rental date and refund the venue fee with no accrued interest. The renter shall not claim any compensation.
- TSRI has the right to prohibit on-site setup by renters violating the venue setup requirements in Article 5, Paragraph 1, Subparagraph 4 hereof.
- TSRI may suspend future rentals or stop offering discounts to renters violating Article 5, Paragraph 2, Subparagraphs 1-4 hereof.
- Any matters not covered herein shall be governed by the regulations of TSRI.
