Since our display walls are being repaired and renovated now, we temporarily halt the application of reserving guided tours in Hsinchu. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
TSRI Application Regulations for School Group Reservation and Guided Tours
Taiwan Semiconductor Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as TSRI) has established this procedure to provide guided tours for educational institutions and schools, maintain the quality of guided tours, and preserve the facilities in the exhibition area.Epidemic Prevention Measures
Alcohol-based hand sanitizers and temperature measurement stations are available at the entrance of TSRI. Before entering, please cooperate by disinfecting your hands and undergoing temperature measurement (provided for use, not mandatory). Thank you for your cooperation. - Target Audience for Guided Tours: Domestics high school students and students from universities and colleges with semiconductor-related programs.
- Group Size: The total number of participants in the applying group should be at least 15 people. To maintain the quality of the tour, each group is limited to a maximum of 30 people.
- Tour Duration: Each tour session is approximately 60 minutes.

- Tainan : No. 25, Xiaodong Road, North District, Tainan City (NCKU Li-Hsing Campus)
- NCKU Chimei Office: 7th Floor, Chimei Building, No. 1, University Road, East District, Tainan City (NCKU Tzu-Chang Campus)
Application Procedures
- Please send an email to tsri-visit@narlabs.org.tw to inquire available reservation dates.Then, complete the Guided Tour Application Form. Return these documents within 3 working days to complete the registration process. For applicants with the same reservation date, arrangements will be made based on the order of application.
- TSRI reserves the right to accept or decline applications. After completing the registration process, the results will be communicated via email within 3 working days. (Please note: Sending the application form does not guarantee approval).
- Incomplete application procedures or cases with missing or false information may lead to the rejection of the application or the cancellation of the tour.
Notes
- The applying group must be accompanied by at least one full-time school staff member throughout the entire tour.
- TSRI does not currently accept visits from Chinese nationals. The applying group must ensure that there are no Chinese nationals among the participants.
- TSRI does not accept applications from travel agencies and other for-profit organizing groups. Exceptions include public associations, educational foundations, and science camps organized by universities or educational institutions that have signed cooperation agreements and agreements on rights and obligations with TSRI.
- The group tour provided by TSRI is a free service, and the tour guides are colleagues from TSRI. If there is a scheduling conflict with the requested tour time and alternative staffing is not possible, we will inform the applying unit separately.
- If the reserved unit cannot proceed with the tour or needs to change the activity date, TSRI should be notified of the cancellation at least 7 working days before the scheduled activity date.
- In cases of unforeseen circumstances, such as natural disasters or force majeure, if the group cannot arrive at TSRI at the reserved time and has not informed TSRI in advance, a delay of more than 20 minutes will result in TSRI no longer accepting reservation requests from the same unit in the future.
