TSRI-CTU Joint Research Center Call for Proposals – Online Information Session Announcement
Date:
2025/09/25

To promote bilateral cooperation and academic exchange, the Taiwan Semiconductor Research Institute (TSRI) and the Czech Technical University in Prague (CTU) have jointly established the TSRI-CTU Joint Research Center. The Center is now calling for proposals for 2026 bilateral research collaboration projects. Through academic cooperation and the support of TSRI’s service platform, the initiative aims to foster long-term and stable partnerships among research teams and to facilitate the sharing of resources and strengths between the two sides.
Project proposals must be jointly submitted by research teams composed of faculty members from Taiwanese universities/colleges and professors from CTU, working together on the same research topic. The Taiwanese principal investigator shall serve as the applicant and submit the proposal within the specified deadline for subsequent review. The research topics include the fields of IC design and IC manufacturing. Due to the internal administrative procedures of both parties, the list of selected proposals will be confirmed on December 19, 2025. The project period will commence from the date of the award of the contract, with a mid-term report scheduled before July 3, 2026, and a final report before November 20, 2026. The project will conclude on November 20, 2026.
The Center plans to hold an online information session on Thursday, October 9, 2025, and interested professors or students designated by their research teams are invited to give a brief introduction of their research topics during the session. Further details are as follows:
